Pontotoc County Commission expected to vote on controversial rezoning request

Ada —

A much-anticipated vote among Pontotoc County Commissioners regarding a controversial zoning request by an Ada resident is scheduled to take place at Monday’s regularly scheduled meeting.

If all goes as expected, commissioners Justin Roberts and Randy Floyd may vote to change zoning on 2.45 acres of land from suburban to commercial.

The controversial case has been kicked around for almost two years now, but for the first time Ada resident Nathan Dial is confident he has the votes on the commission to get the zoning change accomplished.
