Valley View Foundation gala raises $38,000

Ada —

Nearly 200 guests attended The Valley View Foundation’s Black and White Gala March 2 at the First United Bank and Trust of Ada. This year’s event raised over $38,000 to improve community health care.

Guests were welcomed to the gala with a red carpet entrance and valet parking. The event began with a cocktail reception on the mezzanine, where silent auction items — including exclusive sports memorabilia, exotic travel packages and unique artwork — were showcased.

During the dinner program, Todd Essary, executive director of the Valley View Foundation, welcomed guests and thanked them for their support. Hospital and foundation leaders Kent Rogers, Valley View CEO; Letha Wood, gala chair; Dean Peterson, Valley View board chair; and Keri Prince, foundation past  president, each gave their remarks on the importance of the foundation and expressed their gratitude to their guests. Mercy’s regional president of Oklahoma communities, Di Smalley, concluded the remarks with wonderful praise about the Valley View Regional Hospital family and supporters during the dinner program and gave a blessing for the meal and evening.
