Brooklyn Johnson becomes bride of Karl D. Sobolik

Ada — TULSA — Brooklyn Shania Johnson and Karl David Sobolik, both of Tulsa, were married March 3, 2012, at Fossil Creek Ranch, Fitzhugh. The Rev. Jim Smith officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Dana Johnson, Ada. She is the granddaughter of Tony Johnson and Ann Archer, both of Ada, and the late Sherry Johnson and the late Charles Archer.

Parents of the bridegroom are Paul and Lisa Sobolik, Ada. He is the grandson of Larry and Wanda Chapman, Gage, Bobby and Linda Click, Dallas, Texas, and the late Capt. Karl and Madge Sobolik.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Maid of honor was Ashly Ware, Ada. Bridesmaids were Austra Williamson, Ada, Jessie Reed, Tulsa, and Rachel Ford, cousin of the bridegroom, Enid.

Best man was L.J. Sobolik, brother of the bridegroom, Ada. Groomsmen were Dusty Keeling, cousin of the bride, Ada, Blake Wheat, Ada, and Donny Armstrong, Ada.

Ushers were Jeremy Moody, cousin of the bride, Ada, and Michael Scroggins, Ada.

Anika Scroggins, Ada, and Kristi Moody, cousin of the bride, Ada, also attended the bride.

Flower girls were Addy, Eli and Emmie Swanson, Shattuck, Clair Young, Paris, Texas, and all family of the bridegroom, Sydney Moody, cousin of the bride, Ada.

Ring bearer was Mikeal Johnson, brother of the bride, Ada.

Parents of the bride hosted a reception at Fossil Creek Ranch, Fitzhugh. Assisting were Kris Landreth, Deshanna Gillum, Ann Archer and Dana Johnson.

The couple is at home in Tulsa following a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico.
