4 area schools make Bs

Ada —  

Oklahoma students and parents got a snapshot of how their school district is performing this week, when the state Department of Education released letter grades for more than 500 districts.

Four school districts in the Ada area — Konawa, Latta, Roff and Vanoss — all received Bs on their A-F report cards, which are based on the letter grades of all schools in the district.

Latta Superintendent Cliff Johnson said he was proud of the accomplishments of the district’s students and staff.

“We feel like they work hard to earn the grade,” he said. “At Latta, we’re constantly working to make sure our students have the best opportunities available to learn.”
