Roff students participate in curriculum meets

Roff — Roff High School recently participated in Murray State College, Seminole Jr College and Southeastern Oklahoma State’s curriculum meets.  Roff High School won second overall in their division at Seminole. Murray awards students in places first through 10th, Seminole awards students in places first through fifth, and Southeastern awards students in places first through third. Students placing were as follows:

Murray State College:  Hunter Thompson, first in accounting; Karly Hedges, third, Oklahoma History; Dakota Schafer, fourth, government; Salvador Cazares, fifth, Spanish, and Nick Gordon, fifth in library skills; Hunter Thompson, sixth in spreadsheets, Catherine Row, sixth, behavioral science; Jarred Stacey, eighth in biology; and Keisha Goodner, ninth in American Literature.

Seminole Junior College: Micah Gross, first in health; Karly Hedges, first in journalism; Yesenia Lomas, first in Spanish II; Hunter Thompson, first in accounting; Micah Gross, second in psychology; Casey Kelly, second in physics; Kendall Sanford, second in Spanish I; Dakota Schafer, second in vocabulary; JJ Stewart, second in health; Jordan Grinstead, third in accounting; Shane Wise, third in general business, Kelsey Anderson, fourth in physics; Nick Gordon, fourth in civics; Cole Wyche, fourth in Oklahoma History; Natosha Logsdon, fifth in grigonometry; Dakota Schafer, fifth in geography; JJ Stewart, fifth in psychology.

Southeastern: Micah Gross, first in psychology; Jaime Jones, first in economics; JJ Stewart, first in math challenge; Hunter Thompson, first in Accounting I; Vanessa Lomas, second in Spanish I; Yesenia Lomas, second in Spanish II; JJ Stewart, second in computer concepts; Elizabeth Veber, second in Art-Figure Drawing I; Karly Hedges, third in Oklahoma history and Jaime Jones, third in general business.
