AHS scholastic team undefeated
Ada High’s scholastic team left town unbeaten on the season with a large school division victory over runners-up Durant and Broken Bow at the Southeastern State University Scholastic meet recently.

East Central University's 2012 Distinguished Alumnus David Porter will address spring and summer graduates and their families at both the 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. commencement ceremonies Saturday in the Kerr Activities Center.

Ada High senior band members perform tonight
Ada City Schools Band Director Eric Hall will say good-bye to his first group of seniors at the graduation of the Class of 2012 May 22, but at the same time he will usher in an era of growth for the AHS band.

ECU professor honored for work by national forensics organization
Dr. Robert Greenstreet, professor of communication studies and director of forensics at East Central University, has been honored by the Central States Communication Association Argumentation and Forensics Interest Group for his work as a professional director of forensics and communication scholar.
