Couple guides teens at Ada church

ADA — Caleb and Emilee Prenevost are youth pastors at Ada Baptist Temple. Caleb is also music director and Emilee began and operates Ada Baptist Temple Bookstore.

Both are graduates of Champion Baptist College in Hot Springs, Ark., and are dedicated to guiding teens through difficult teen years. They invide Ada area teenagers to be a part of the Temple Teens.

Ada Baptist Temple is located at 301 Napier St. For more information or transportation, phone the church office at 580-436-4546.

 

Musical set Saturday at Willard school

ADA — Under The Blood Outreach Ministries sponsored a fund raiser musical Saturday, April 28 at 5 p.m. at Willard Grade Center gymnasium in Ada. For more information, contact Charlene Blue at 580 235- 3923.

 

St. Luke’s to host visitor’s Sunday

ADA — St. Luke’s Episcopal Church host a Visitor’s Sunday on April 29.  Sunday service is at 9 a.m. and will be an instructed service that explains the way Episcopalians  worship. A brunch will follow. The event is open to the public.

St. Luke’s is located at 17th and Broadway. 

 

Allen church hosts Family, Friends Day

ALLEN — Allen Church of Christ hosts Family and Friends Day May 20. Danny Stewart is special guest speaker.

Events begin with Bible class at 9:45 a.m., worship at 10:45 a.m., potluck lunch at 12 p.m. and singing at 2 p.m. The event is open to the public.

 

Church offers prayer plaza

ADA — New Life Church of the Apostolic Faith welcomes the public to its new prayer plaza. Those visiting the prayer plaza are asked to tack a prayer request to the cross or phone 436-1765 for prayers.
