Baptist Village constructs new neighborhood

Ada —

Baptist Village of Ada soon will be serving more residents as a new neighborhood is taking shape. A former group home on campus is being renovated and will transition to an assistance in living neighborhood with 10 new apartment homes.

In addition, an existing neighborhood at the Village, Psalms Place, will transform its services from residential care to assistance in living. This means more services will be provided.

Both neighborhoods will feature resident-centered services in a homelike environment. Residents will be able to get up when they want and eat breakfast when they want. Meals also will be served family-style, as residents all will gather around one table, fellowshipping and enjoying meals together.

“The new neighborhood will allow us to serve even more residents in assistance in living,” said Campus Director Tracy Scheer. “We’re very excited about this opportunity.”
