The Ada News

Byng —

Gospel music artist Pam Weston will be in concert at Byng Assembly of God Church at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 15.

Weston was born into a musical family in Jefferson City, Tenn. She began playing the piano at the age of 7 and wrote her first song at the age of 14. Weston and her band, Stage West, toured Italy, Greece, Spain and Turkey on a Department of Defense Good Will Tour.

She landed a job with Opry star, Bill Anderson, in his “Po’ Folks” Band, touring the U.S. and playing at the Grand Ole Opry. She also played piano and sang back-up vocals with such great country stars as Jeannie Seely and Helen Cornelius.  Recently, she was featured at the McSwain Theatre in Ada.

The entire service this Sunday night will be devoted to Weston as she shares her testimony with her voice and piano talents.  A free-will offering will be taken for her expenses.

Mitch Williams, pastor, and the congregation of Byng Assembly of God invite the public to attend the concert.
