Graveside services for Evelyn Ernestine Morris, 79, of Ada were at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Rodger Arter officiated.
Mrs. Morris died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at a local hospital.
She was born Jan. 24, 1934 in Seminole to Charles F. and Lydia M. Bayley Jones.
She married Jodie Kennedy on Nov. 11, 1950. She later married Harold C. Morris on Sept. 17, 1976. He preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1978.
Mrs. Morris was employed with the Santa Cruz County Office of Education until 1980. She returned to the Ada area about 1995 from California.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Kennedy and her husband, Craig, of Sulphur and Paula Kennedy Garrett, Shafter, Calif.; two sons, Daniel J. Kennedy, Lone Grove, and Steven A. Kennedy, Kenosha, Wis.; a brother, Charles F. Jones, Ada; two sisters, Lovene Harris, Meeker, and Ella Jean Adams, McAlester; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Allen Jones; and a sister, Billie Eileen Colbert.
