HOLDENVILLE — WILLA DEAN CROSBY

HOLDENVILLE — Services for Willa Dean Frump  Crosby, 84, former long time resident of Holdenville, are 10 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, at Assembly of God Church in Holdenville,  The Rev. Michael W. Smith officiating.  Burial follows at Holdenville Cemetery, Holdenville.

Bearers are Richard Clifton, Brawn-Alyn Fahrney, Bryan Roulston, Kenny Davis, Logan Crosby and Tyler Crosby.

Mrs. Crosby died July 5, 2012, in Ada. She was born Nov. 21, 1928, in Webb City, Okla., to Franklin Frump and Ollie  Franklin Frump. She grew up in Sasakwa where she attended school.

Shemarried Jep Crosby on March 9, 1946. To this union two children were born, Jeff Crosby and Sharon Crosby.

Mrs. Crosby was an active member of Assembly of God Church for more than 50 years.  She also worked for Holdenville General Hospital for more than 25 years until her retirement in 1980.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Jep (Aug. 24, 1991), brother Floyd Frump and son-in-law Gary Bell (April 6, 1976).

Survivors include her children, Jeffery Crosby and fiancé Amanda Lotter of Ada, daughter Sharon Bell of Ada; sisters Peggy Roulston and husband Hardy of Edmond, Betty Sanders of Sasakwa, Frankie Smith and husband Wayne, Marie Brown of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren Jeffery “Tyler” Crosby of Ada, Logan Greer Crosby of Ada, MacKenzee Ellen Cosby, Shelly Rhea Ridley and husband Jason; and one great-grandchild Crosby Nichole Ridley.
