RONALD E. BLAIR

Ronald Edward Blair was born on October 23, 1950 in San Mateo, CA and went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2011.

Ron attended school at Cloverdale, CA and graduated in 1968 from Monte Vista Christian School in Watsonville, CA.

He was in the Navy in San Diego, CA when he met his wife Reneé Perry Blair. They married on December 16, 1972 in San Diego, CA.

Ron was a police detective in Haltom City, TX, where he also worked for Tarrant County Sheriff's Department as bailiff.

He retired from El Cajon Police Department in El Cajon, CA.

The Blair family moved to Ada, OK in 2004 and he went to work for the Chickasaw Nation. 

Ron was cautious of people "it's a police thing" but once he knew you, you were a friend or considered family.

Ron was of the Pentecostal faith. He loved God, his family, house church, the San Diego Chargers, cultivating orchids and loved dancing with his wife Reneé.

His grandchildren and granddawg were the light of his life.

Ron was a very accomplished musician who played many instruments. He loved playing music for the Lord.

Ron leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Reneé Perry Blair, son Robbie Blair and daughter Roni Blair Cooper and husband Brandon Cooper all of Ada, OK.

Grandchildren are Melissa Gomez Cooper, Alona Cooper and True Cooper all of Ada and one granddawg, Steve. He also has numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. His mother Gnoetta Blair lives in Cloverdale, CA. Ron has two surviving brothers, Daryl Blair and Danny Blair of CA. Ron was preceded in death by his father Olon Blair and one brother Wesley Blair.

The memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Chickasaw Community Center, 700 N. Mississippi, Ada, OK
