Junior Kirkley

Memorial services for Charlie Clint “Junior” Kirkley Jr., 65, Wewoka, are 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. David Gray officiating.

Mr. Kirkley died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at an Ada nursing home. He was born Dec. 10, 1947, in Bakersfield, Calif., to Charlie Clint Kirkley Sr. and Dorothy Yvonne Lucas Kirkley. 

Mr. Kirkley was a factory worker in Fort Worth, Texas, until his retirement.

Survivors include a son, Charlie Kirkley III; two sisters, Linda Whitlock and her husband, Clayton, of Wewoka, and Tammy Lucas of Edmond; a brother, Terry Don Rose of Port Lavaca, Texas; his many friends at Jan Frances Care Center; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald Kirkley and Orville Kirkley; and a nephew, Joshua Murray.
