BOBBY JONES

TISHOMINGO — Graveside services for Bobby Joe Jones, 70, are 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, at Tishomingo Cemetery, Tishomingo. Mickey Peercy, Katy Peercy and Maggie Peercy are officiating the services.  Music is arranged by Maggie Peercy.

Mr. Jones died April 6, 2012, at a Madill nursing center. He was born in 1941 in Ada to James Welcome Jones and Maudie Martin Jones.

 His mother died when Mr. Jones was 3 years old. He was  raised by his oldest sister, Johnnie Peercy, along with her children Barbara Gayle Teel and Mickey Peercy.

He was also preceded in death by his father; brothers, Jack  Jones, Jerry Jones and Raythel Jones; sisters, Johnnie Peercy, Wynona Barnett, Imogene Grove and Dorothy Law.

Survivors include  sisters, Marguerite Pritchett, Madill, and Virginia Hooper, Tecumseh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

During his life, Mr. Jones lived in Ada, Tishomingo  and Madill.

BOBBY MORRISON

NORMAN — Services for Bobby "BK" Morrison, 73, are 10 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2012, in the Chapel of Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment following at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Morrison died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Norman. He was born June 9, 1938, in Norman to Robert and Bessie Johnson Morrison.

He married Virginia Lee Richardson in 1957 and together they had four children: Kenny, Lisa, Kelly and Shelly.  Later he married Jeannie Walker and together with her daughters, Angie and Dena, became a family.  

Mr. Morrison owned and operated Ole Blues Night Club in Norman for more than 30 years.  

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Kenny and Lisa Morrison, Ada; five daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Whitey Hernandez, Houston, Texas, Kelly and Tim Conner, Sulphur, Shelly and Randy Hacker,  Wilson, Angie and Lawrence Candelaria, Norman, Dena and Robert Charles, Norman; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Anita Morrison, Moore; a sister and brother-in-law, Louise and the Rev. Daniel Harper, Noble; 19 grandchildren, Lisa Rae, Jenny, Brandon, Kenny, Taylor, Ashlyn, Misty, Dusty, Shelby, Michael, Ross, Troy, Jerry, Cody, Logan, Kyle, Joey, Travis and Brandon; 16 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie Morrison and his parents.

Visitation will be held 1-8 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2012, with the family greeting friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Havenbrook Funeral Home.
