Ada program on rise again

Ada — ADA — The Ada Cougar basketball program is on the rise once again.

Those are head coach Ron Anderson’s sentiments following a very good 2012-2013 season that saw the Cougar boys come up just short (one win) of a trip to the 4A state tournament.

Ada lost a heartbreaker to Harrah in the 4A Area consolation championship contest at Chickasha Saturday night.

Latta’s Husband named OBCA Coach of the Year; Storts plays in all-star game
The Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Games had a Latta High School feel on Saturday as it was announced that head coach Donnie Husband was named OBCA Coach of the Year while guard Trent Storts helped the Class 2A stars knock off the Class 3A standouts by an 86-75 count.
