Ada —
The way coach Matt Weber sees it, if the Ada Cougars are going to snap a two-game losing streak to nemesis Ardmore, it's going to have to be simple.
In fact, keeping it simple has been in the works since last spring. And the results, especially on offense, have been good in the days leading up to the Week 1 showdown this Friday at Noble Stadium in Ardmore.
“We've had a good week of practice. I think a lot of that is attributed to what we're doing on both sides of the ball,” he said.
“(Offensively), it's just so simple. It can look really complex, but it's way simpler than what we've been doing. We had all this installed in the spring, so when we got back our kids already had a pretty good understanding of it and we picked up right where we left off in the spring,” Weber explained. "Offensively, it's just really, really simple. From our starters through the guys that will be playing on Monday nights — we've still had some busts — for the most part we look a lot better. ”
