Two powerful southeastern Oklahoma Indian tribes and the state have agreed to keep talking — through mediation — in an effort to resolve disputes involving water.
A federal judge on Monday extended the talks until Feb. 19, 2013.
Mediation was ordered by Lee West, district judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
