A fundraiser for a Stratford family coping with brain cancer is set for Sept. 22 at Stratford City Park.
The Let’s Glo Run for Tricia (Wood) will start at 4 p.m. with inflatables, face painting, hair beading and a barrel train for kids. Hamburgers, cotton candy, popcorn and other concessions will be available.
A 5K run will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a family fun run and walk at 7:30 p.m. People who aren’t interested in racing are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets for a movie under the stars scheduled to start at dusk.
Registration fee for the 5K run is $35. Sign-up for the fun run and walk is $15. Late registration will be available at 6 p.m. Sept. 22 at the park, but the fee will be $5 higher.
