Ada —
Pontotoc County authorities are looking for an Ada man who was charged Wednesday with three counts of burglary after his next door neighbors reported a break-in Tuesday night.
Michael Jasper Bess, 25, was charged with one count of first-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree burglary in connection with the theft of money and other items from Shawna Hayes and Carlous Hatton at a residence on County Road 3487. Bess is also under indictment for the alleged unauthorized purchase of more than $1,400 worth of gasoline on a credit card issued to him by his former employer, Roff Iron and Sales, but he failed to show for a status conference Wednesday afternoon on that charge, which was filed in June.
