Vanoss —

People interested in serving on the Vanoss School District Board of Education may file to run for the on the board in December.

Candidates for board position 3 may declare their candidacy between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Dec. 3 through 5 at the Pontotoc County Election board office, according to a news release from the Vanoss School District. The election is scheduled for Feb. 12, 2013, and a runoff election will be slated for April 2 if none of the candidates receive more than 50 percent of the vote.
