Ada mom pleads guilty to embezzlement

Ada — The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, announced Carol Watham, 47, Ada, pleaded guilty to theft from the government Monday.

Charges arose from an investigation by the Social Security Administration and Office of Inspector General. The defendant was indicted in July.

The indictment alleged from December 1, 2009 through July 2011, the defendant embezzledmoney from the Social Security Administration.
