A Stonewall woman charged with embezzling nearly $200,000 from her employer will have her next court hearing in late October.
The preliminary hearing for Robin L. Logan, who is charged with two counts of embezzlement, is set for 8:30 a.m. Oct. 29 in Pontotoc County District Court. The date was set during a brief hearing Thursday.
Logan is accused of embezzling $196,322.19 in cash and unauthorized credit card transactions while she was the business manager for an Ada dentist, Dr. James Clark, according to an affidavit by Ada Police Detective Destry Musgrove. The alleged thefts supposedly occurred over four years, starting in 2008 and ending when the missing money wasdiscovered in May 2012.
