Francis to receive $99K for water fix

Francis —  

A Pontotoc County community received a state grant Tuesday to repair its malfunctioning wastewater treatment system.

The Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) approved a $99,987 Rural Economic Action Plan (REAP) grant for the Francis Public Works Authority, announced J.D. Strong, executive director of the state agency.
