Tribe looks to buy casinos

Ada — Global Gaming LLC is expanding the Chickasaw Nation’s interstate gambling profile once again.

Less than a year after Global bought an interest in Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas, agreement has been reached for the wholly-owned entity of the Chickasaw Nation to purchase all of the assets of DiamondJacks Casinos in Bossier City, La., and Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Legends Gaming LLC, which currently operates the two casinos, filed the asset sale agreement last week as part of a Chapter 11 filing with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Louisiana.
