Ada —
The Pontotoc County District Attorney’s office issued a warrant Wednesday for the arrest of an Ada woman police believe is part of an alleged conspiracy to sell prescription drugs to undercover officers on the East Central University campus earlier this month.
Stephanie Frazier was named in the warrant, which alleges she used a prescription in her name to purchase Loritab tablets she delivered to her mother, Linda Frazier, and sister, La Shon Vanessa Davis. Linda Frazier and Davis were arrested Sept. 17 near ECU’s Faust Hall by members of the Ada Police Department’s drug unit, who took Davis in custody when she exited Linda Frazier’s truck, reportedly with six pills in her hand.
After a search of the vehicle turned up 10 more pills on a tissue on the front seat, Davis was charged with conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. She was released on Sept. 20 after posting a $25,000 and is due to return to court on Oct. 30. Her mother was charged with conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and is out on $15,000 bond.
