Ada — Sponsors say this year’s Ada Sidewalk Sale offers many firsts that will spice up the annual event and make it the most successful ever.

Gunar Matheny, chairman of Ada Area Chamber of Commerce’s Retail Committee, said for the first time anyone can remember, and possibly ever, the sidewalk sale will be a two-day event. “Adding a day gives twice the opportunity to shoppers still in vacation mode and headed out of town for the weekend to take advantage of great bargains,” he said.
