Ada —

Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Friday night.

At approximately 8:50 p.m., police officers were dispatched to the area of Ninth Street and Cherry Avenue The reason was a woman had been stabbed in the chest while driving her vehicle.

The victim was able to pull off the road without incident, and a friend of hers drove by and saw her vehicle off the road in a strange manner, according to the news release. The friend checked and found the victim bleeding. She had been stabbed while sitting in the driver’s seat.
