Body found in Ada

Ada —  

Police officers were called Saturday to an area where a local man found human remains, according to a news release from the Ada Police Department. The area, although wooded, is inside the city limits of Ada.

The incident is still under investigation. Further information is pending a 100 percent identification of the remains, officials said. 

The Ada Police Department is working in cooperation with the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office on this case, officials said. No further details were being released by officials.
