Ada — The third suspect in last October’s robbery of Citizens Bank of Ada Cradduck branch pleaded no contest Tuesday to first-degree robbery and will serve a 15-year prison term.
Tristan David Williams, 21, a resident of McAlester and cousin to convicted robber David Jaquonne Cole — an accomplice in the robbery — was sentenced by District Judge Steven Kessigner. Five of the 15 years were suspended by the judge, so Williams will be looking at spending 8 1/2 years in prison before he is eligible for parole.
After completing his prison term, Williams will be placed on five years probation, according to Pontotoc County Assistant District Attorney Jim Tillison.
