Ex-manager waives right to hearing

Ada —

The former business manager for Ada dentist James L. Clark, accused of embezzling nearly $200,000 from him, waived her right to a preliminary hearing Monday before Special District Judge Steven Kessinger.

The judge ordered Robin Lynn Logan of Stonewall to return to court on March 28 for a status conference.

The charges facing Logan were detailed in an affidavit signed by Ada Police Detective Destry Musgrove.

“I was able to obtain receipts on several transactions contained in the list which confirmed that the transactions were for personal gain,” Musgrove said in the affidavit.

He said a credit card was used to buy clothes, home decor, a bedroom suite, a washing machine, prescription medications — legally prescribed to Robin Logan — a 20 gauge shotgun, targets, ammo, food, candy, fuel, oil changes, cellular phone bills, scrub uniforms, shoes, electric bills and Jason Aldean concert tickets.
