Man jailed after fleeing police

Ada — Police arrested one man for driving under the influence after chasing him down early Sunday morning.

The trouble started before Eric Lashane Black, 26, of Ada, even stepped inside a motor vehicle, though. The trouble started when Black showed up at a woman’s house at 3:45 a.m.

Black banged on the door in the 800 block of West Fifth until a second man, Jacob Cornier swung the door open wide, only to be met with a fist in his face thrown by Black, according to the police reports.
