Accident claims Ada man Sunday

ADA —       An Ada man was killed in a one-vehicle wreck early Sunday morning four miles west of town.

Clayton M. Hillman, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene of massive injuries.

Hillman was eastbound on a Pontotoc County road when his 2007 Chevy pickup truck ran off the right side of the road, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Hillman overcorrected, sending the truck into a broadslide.

The truck struck a ditch and partially rolled over, coming to rest on its top. Hillman was pinned inside the truck for an unknown length of time.

Hillman was wearing a seat belt when the wreck occurred, according to OHP.
