ECU dance ensemble engaged in fundraising project

Ada — ADA – The East Central University Dance Ensemble, Collage, is currently engaged in fundraising efforts in support of an artist-in-residency project.

The ensemble is offering academic year calendars at a cost of $8.

The project will provide support fees/expenses to bring Jon Lehrer of LehrerDance, of Buffalo, N.Y., to the ECU campus. Lehrer will set new work and conduct a four-day intensive clinic to Collage members.

The new work will be presented for adjudication at the Central Region American College Dance Festival at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo., in March 2013, and also at the ECU Spring Dance concert.

For more information on purchasing a calendar contact ECU Program Coordinator for Dance Victoria Dansby at 580-559-5624 or vdansby@ecok.edu .
