County commission delays several actions

Ada —  

Several items on the agenda for the weekly Pontotoc County Commissioners meeting were tabled Monday.

Discussion and possible action regarding recreational vehicle (RV) hookups at the Agri-Plex was just one of the items tabled to next Monday’s meeting. Commissioners needed more time to inspect the south parking lot at the Agri-Plex. The parking area currently has approximately five places for RV parking. Commissioners said the hook ups are for people who rent the Agri-Plex to put on weekend events. The hook ups are currently in the middle of the parking lot and commissioners are looking to create 14 spaces at the very south end of the parking lot to free up parking space in the middle of the lot.

Also tabled was a discussion and possible action regarding reimbursement of $120,000 for District Two and a resolution concerning the appointment of Darrell Rhoads to the Pontotoc County Flood Plain Board.

Commissioners approved action concerning Lynn Hoppe Junior Livestock Show slated for Dec. 15, 2012.
