Oklahoma Baptist University honors Adan at show

Ada —

Ada resident Cara Cliburn, a senior at Oklahoma Baptist University, was honored during the University’s 75th annual “Hanging of the Green” ceremony Saturday in Raley Chapel’s Potter Auditorium. The theme of the Christmas celebration was “From Darkness to Light.”

Traditionally, 20 outstanding seniors are nominated and selected by faculty as honorees for the evening. These students are seen to embody the OBU ideals and represent a wide variety of majors, disciplines and hometowns.

The Christmas program featured performances by students and faculty in OBU’s Warren M. Angell College of Fine Arts, including the University Ringers, University Chorale, Bison Glee Club, Bisonette Glee Club, Shawnee Honor Choir and the OBU/Shawnee Community Orchestra.
