McSwain Theatre presents Mark Lowry Saturday night

McSwain Theatre presents Mark Lowry “Unplugged & Unplanned” - A Night of Comedy and Music Ministry, Saturday, Jan. 12. The show will begin at 7 p.m.

For almost four decades,  Mark Lowry has been entertaining audiences with his unique combination of stand-up comedy and music.

Lowry will make his debut appearance at the legendary 574-seat McSwain Theatre, along with special guest pianist Stan Whitmire.

Lowry has released four music albums and six comedy and music videos, including “Mark Lowry on Broadway” which debuted at number one on the Billboard music video chart in 2001.

  • Boat Full Wintersmith Lake hosts Chickasaw boaters

    A dragon boat, kayaks and canoes gracefully slid atop Wintersmith Lake in Ada during a special program hosted by the Chickasaw Nation Riversport Youth Canoe/Kayak League. This marked the first time in approximately 20 years such an event was conducted on the local lake.

  • ACT II takes applications for drama camp

    Ada Community Theatre (ACT II) is now taking applications for its summer Youth Drama Camp. The production will be “Montgomery Mansion”, a comical musical written by Vickie Reifsnider, Darice Strickland and Rudy Lupinski.  The camp receives funding assistance from the Oklahoma Arts Council.
