A 24-year-old Ada man has been arrested on suspicion of trying to pass a fraudulent $400 check from the account of a local Sunday school class.

Several Ada area retired educators were among more than 400 members of the Oklahoma Retired Educators Association in attendance at the organization's annual state convention and House of Delegates in Tulsa May 17. Keynote speaker was Dr. Keith Ballard, superintendent of Tulsa Public Schools.
