Bad check sends Ada businessman to county jail

Ada —  

An Ada businessman was arrested Wednesday and charged with writing a bogus check for almost $27,000 to another business, and Chris Crow of Chickasaw Lighthorse Police said more charges are likely.

Forrest Lee Zudell, owner of Tornado Storm Shelters of Oklahoma, was in the Pontotoc County Justice Center under a $75,000 bond.

He allegedly wrote a worthless check in August for $26,930 to Shaw Machine for steel molds used to make storm shelters.
