Allen woman becomes second victim in wreck

Tulsa —  

An Allen woman who was injured in a one-vehicle wreck last week has died.

Ruby Hoskison, 86, died of massive injuries Saturday night at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Hoskison was injured late Friday night on the state highway ramp to U.S. Highway 69 in Pittsburg County, according to the Highway Patrol. She was riding in a 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada, which left the road on the right side, overturned and rolled two and a half times before coming to rest on its top.

The driver, 81-year-old Thomas Cosper of Coalgate, was pinned in the car before he was extricated by the Crowder and Eufaula fire departments. He was taken to McAlester Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead of massive injuries.
