Alicia Miller to marry Derek Cupps
ADA — Alicia Miller and Derek Cupps, both of Ada, are exchanging wedding vows Aug. 11, 2012, at Crosspointe Church. Shawn Wiebers is officiating the 4 p.m. ceremony.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Shane and Sheila Miller, Ada. She is the granddaughter of Eve and David Branscum, Ada, Linda and Frank Barnett, Macomb, Jerry and Beth Choate, Ardmore, and the late William H.B. Sumner. A 2011 graduate of Ada High School, she was a cheerleader from 2007-2011 and a member of DECA. She attends Pontotoc Technology Center in the Licensed Practical Nursing program.
Parents of the future bridegroom are Tony and Kim Cupps, Ada. Grandparents are Doyle and Yvonne Reed and Herman and Imogene Cupps, Ada. A 2007 graduate of Latta High School, he was a member of FCCLA, National Honor Society and on the basketball team. He attends East Central University with plans to attend Murray State College in the fall.
