An Ada woman who helped her boyfriend rob the bank where she was employed pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday.
United States Attorney Mark F. Green said 20-year-old Megan Nicole Short pleaded guilty to bank robbery.
Short and her boyfriend, David Jaquonn Cole, 22, Ada, were indicted in federal court Nov. 9. The Indictment alleges on Oct. 21, 2011, Cole, Short and another accomplice used “force, violence and intimidation,” to steal money, namely $153,100 from Citizens Bank of Ada. Short will be sentenced upon completion of a presentence report.
“The statutory range of punishment is not more than 20 years imprisonment and/or up to a $250,000 fine,” Green said.
