Ada — Embattled city manager David Hathcoat tendered his resignation to council members who were meeting to terminate or suspend him Thursday evening. Since Hathcoat resigned, the council tabled action concerning Hathcoat until a 5 p.m. Monday meeting. His resignation letter was not released. Mayor Dick Scalf said he expected Hathcoat to be at the Monday session. Hathcoat, who has been Ada City Manager for 15 years, did not appear with council at Thursday's meeting, however.
