• A medical fund-raiser for Darlene Wofford Marsh is 6 p.m. at the Lula Fire Department. Marsh was recently diagnosed with cancer and has no insurance. • Konawa T-Steppers is conducting its annual fundraiser at Pop & Granny’s Pub & Grill located three miles east of Rivermist on state Highway 56. The girls will be having a garage sale, car wash, and an Indian taco sale.  They are selling tickets for the Indian taco meal which includes a drink and a dessert for $7. • Today is the cut off date to sign up for the 21st annual Ada Shrine Club Golf Scramble and Shootout skins game Aug. 11. The event begins with a two-man scramble at 8 a.m. shotgun start at Jimmie Austin Golf Course, Seminole. Cost is $130 per team, which includes green fee, cart and hamburgers, hotdogs or hot link dinner. Mulligans are $5; A,B&C Flights (determined by adjusted team handicap); senior flight (both golfers must be 60 or older.) Skins game prizes. Total prize money equals $4,300.
