• Ada Kiwanis Club meets each Monday at 12 noon in the Aldridge Ballroom, 12th and Broadway, for buffet lunch and a short program. Kiwanis is a service club whose motto is “Young Children, Priority One.” Kiwanians serve the  community in ways that primarily benefit children, including the operation of the Kiwanis Ball Park and assisting with the Wintersmith Kiddie Park. • Ada Elk’s Lodge conducts dance classes each Monday from 7-8:30 p.m. Classes include country/western, swing, waltz and line. Dance classes are $2.50 per person and are open to the public. Ada Elk’s Lodge kitchen is open at 6 p.m. for the Monday night special or guests may order off the menu. 

•Veterans of Foreign Wars, Desert Storm Post 11194, holds its monthly meeting the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Music Room  located on the second floor of Ada Public Library. Anyone having an interest in the VFW, any veteran, and especially those who have earned a campaign medal through participation in combat are encouraged to attend. The Post also operates a Veterans Service Office at 701 N. Broadway in Ada.
