Midwest City —

The 2012 Ms. Senior America Pageant of Oklahoma is seeking contestants  throughout Oklahoma to compete on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Rose State Performing Arts Theatre.

Due to the dynamic show and energy conveyed in this competition, Rose State Community Outreach in adult education has partnered with Ms. Senior America Pageant of Oklahoma to continue its mission promoting  health, wellness and continued education among senior  citizens.

The competition for the contestants, celebrates a woman’s “Age of Elegance” by  showcasing their accomplishments, volunteerism, philosophy of life, evening gown  choice and their talent. The applicant must be 60 years old or above.

The 2012 winner will represent Oklahoma in the National Ms. Senior  America Pageant at Harrah’s in Atlantic City, N.J. this fall. Oklahoma’s 2011 Ms.  Senior America, Vickey Rose, placed in the top 10 in 2011.

Her voice brought the audience to their feet when she sang “At Last.”
