• The annual Gerty Alumni Reunion will be held in the Gerty Community Center. The building will open at 10 a.m. for visitation. A short business meeting will be held followed by a potluck dinner at 12 noon. The Class of 1962 will be celebrating its 50th anniversary and will be recognized. The event is open to all former students, teachers and residents.

• Ada Kiwanis Club meets each Monday at 12 noon in the Aldridge Ballroom, 12th and Broadway, for buffet lunch and a short program. Kiwanis is a service club whose motto is “Young Children, Priority One.” Kiwanians serve the community in ways that primarily benefit children, including the operation of the Kiwanis Ball Park and assisting with the Wintersmith Kiddie Park. •Veterans of Foreign Wars, Desert Storm Post 11194, holds its monthly meeting the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Music Room located on the second floor of Ada Public Library. Anyone having an interest in the VFW, any veteran, and especially those who have earned a campaign medal through participation in combat are encouraged to attend. The Post also operates a Veterans Service Office at 701 N. Broadway in Ada.

• A fan drive takes place from 1 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Compassion Outreach Clinic located on Cradduck Road across from Village Inn. New fans are needed to bless shut-in members of the community.
