The Ada News
How long has it been since you yelled "BINGO?"
Well, that's too long.
Maurisa Nelson, The Ada News advertising director, said a Bingo contest in conjunction with area advertisers begins Wednesday.
Newspaper readers will find a bingo card inserted into their Tuesday, April 24 edition. “Beginning Wednesday, readers look for numbers in selected advertisements in the newspaper, cut them out and paste or tape them in the appropriate matching squares on their bingo card,” Nelson said.
Nelson said two numbers will be hidden in participating sponsors’ ads in each day’s newspaper.
“All numbers posted on bingo cards must be from original copies of The Ada News,” she said.
Nelson said the first person to “black out” a card wins $500. The second reader to do so wins $250. Another prize of $125 will go to the third reader to black out all squares.
Area advertisers co-sponsoring the contest are Terry West Law Firm, MyDentist, IRT, Rivermist Casino, Boom-a-Rang Diner, Ada Quick Mart, Radio Shack and J’s La-ti-da.
