Valley View Regional Hospital is sponsoring a Stratford Community Health and Wellness Fair Thursday, June 28, from 2-6 p. m. at Stratford Free Will Baptist Church Life Center, 101 South Church Street on HWY 19.
The event is free and open to the public.
The Health and Wellness Fair is designed to provide free health screenings that include BMI, blood glucose, blood typing, blood pressure, bone density, glaucoma, ear and vision. There will also be car seat checks, seminars by health care professionals from 2-5 p.m., wound care detection, diabetes information and much more. Health booths, activities for children, air evac helicopters, emergency vehicles, healthy snacks, and medical information will be available throughout the day. Valley View Regional Hospital’s physicians, nurses, and hospital leaders will also be available for questions.
A community reception is from 5-6 p.m.
