second place winners of the essay contest who read their essays at the meeting. The topic for the contest was "I Am a Cloud, And This is My Life's Journey". Jalee Hood of Roff, on left, won second place for the eighth grade, and Christy Deipenbrock of Davis wrote the second place essay for seventh grade. Each received a $10 cash prize and a certificate. First place winners Jessica Anderson for seventh grade, and Katie Elliott for eighth grade were unable to attend the meeting. Each received $20 cash and a certificate. All participants received certificates for their efforts.
