ADA — Celebrating their golden wedding anniversary are Steve and Nova Gray, Ada. The couple’s children are hosting a reception from 2-4 p.m. March 6 at Chickasaw Nation Community Center.
Steve Gray and Nova Stinson met in high school at Vanoss and were married March 9, 1961, at Konawa.
Mr. Gray was a welder at Ada Iron and Metal before becoming a contract oilfield pumper for the past 35 years.
Mrs. Gray retired after owning and operating a retail clothing store in Tecumseh for 20 years.
The Grays are members of Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The couple has three children: Clark Gray and wife Lori, Mark Gray and wife Marcy, and April Gray Elliott and husband Jeff, all of Ada; and 11 grandchildren, Lance Gray, Terra Gray, Jaydyn Gray, Emory Gray, Montana Gray, Mason Gray, Memphis Gray, Madelyn Gray, Chandler Elliott, Ethan Elliott and Avery Elliott.
